Salesforce reported that its customers more than doubled their agentic workforces year on year, according to the company's second annual Agentic Enterprise Index.
The index examines trends in AI agent development and deployment over the past five quarters. It compiles data from customers who activated agents in production every month of the analysis period.
The data also indicates agents are taking less time to deploy to production than previously. The findings are drawn from actual production deployments rather than survey responses.
