IT News You Can Use

Enterprise IT news, curated weekly. Delivered your way.

Every week we read the reputable sources and file what matters into CxO, AI, Security, Operations and Cloud — with a dedicated section for each enterprise IT vendor we cover, so the main sections stay vendor-neutral. Pick a platform and a frequency below; the issue comes to you.

How we curate

Selected, filed, and ranked by you

The hard part of following enterprise IT was never the reading — it was deciding what deserves the reading. That is the part we do, every week, against one rubric.

  1. 01

    We read widely

Each week IT News and Events curates content from many reputable sources across the industry.

One rubric decides what survives the cut: “IT News You Can Use.”

  2. 02

We file it by topic — and by vendor

Selected articles go into sections such as CxO, AI, Security, Operations and Cloud.

We curate for a number of enterprise IT vendors, and each vendor gets its own dedicated section — which is what keeps the main news sections vendor-neutral.

  3. 03

    Your clicks rank the week

We count the clicks through to the articles to measure what readers actually found useful.

The most popular articles are then featured in the Saturday and Sunday editions.

The week

Monday to Friday, then the best of it

We publish our curated articles on several platforms, but the main web site is it-news-and-events.info. The week’s news is divided into five groups, and the weekend belongs to whatever you read most.

Popularity

The Popular page

Four tabs, each ranking what readers clicked through for the issue shown:

IT covers the main groups — CxO, AI, Security and the rest. Vendors covers the enterprise IT vendors we follow. Events covers webinars and major in-person events.

Vendor neutrality

Every vendor in its own section

From AWS to Zscaler

We curate content for a number of enterprise IT vendors. Because each one has a dedicated news section, vendor announcements never have to compete for a place in the main topic sections — and the main sections stay neutral by construction.

That is also why the weekend has two editions rather than one: Saturday ranks the main IT news, Sunday ranks the vendor news, and neither crowds out the other.

Two groups, two ways to read the week

We post the curated content to these LinkedIn groups as well. Joining a group is free and needs no subscription — it is simply another place the same curation shows up.
