ServiceNow Adds Agent Kill Switches to AI Control Tower

ServiceNow expanded its AI Control Tower with new security features, connectors, and kill switches to manage AI agent sprawl across enterprises.
ServiceNow announced a major expansion of its AI Control Tower, transforming it from a governance dashboard into an enterprise-wide command center for managing AI assets across multiple cloud platforms and applications.
The updated system now includes 30 new enterprise connectors spanning AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure, along with applications like SAP and Oracle, enabling discovery and monitoring of AI agents, models, and datasets across entire technology estates.
Leveraging acquisitions of Veza (access graph technology) and Traceloop (AI observability), the platform can detect security threats like prompt injection attacks and automatically deploy kill switches to disable compromised agents.
Additionally, ServiceNow launched Action Fabric to allow external AI agents to trigger governed enterprise workflows, and added cost tracking dashboards to help finance teams monitor AI spending and ROI.
