ServiceNow expands Build Agent across major AI coding tools with enterprise governance and free App Engine Management Center access.
ServiceNow announced the general availability of Build Agent in ServiceNow Studio and extended it to Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot, enabling developers to build from any environment with full platform context and governance.
The company also launched a free tier of App Engine Management Center to help keep applications governed before deployment and unveiled a reimagined AI Agent Studio that simplifies AI agent creation at scale.
Build Agent now works across the entire ServiceNow platform, including existing applications, and automatically embeds in-app AI agents into custom applications with built-in enterprise oversight.
The solution addresses the growing 'shadow development' problem where ungoverned apps introduce risk and technical debt while enabling faster development through AI-native tools.
