Introducing Databricks In Glean Assistant

Glean adds Databricks as a native source so employees can ask analytical questions in natural language and get SQL-backed answers.
Glean announced that Databricks is now available as a native data source inside Glean Assistant. Employees can pose analytical questions in plain language, and Glean taps Databricks Genie to translate those questions into SQL.
Results are combined with broader enterprise context from documents, messages, and other connected systems so answers carry business meaning rather than raw numbers.
The integration spans four approaches: natural language queries in Assistant, searchable Databricks dashboards, direct SQL access for technical users, and an MCP connection to Databricks Genie. Glean positions the release as a way to cut the wait for analyst-produced reports.
