Supermicro Expands DCBBS Liquid Cooling With Ten Rear Door Heat Exchangers up to 120kW

StorageReview, Wednesday, July 15th, 2026

Supermicro adds ten rear door heat exchanger models from 10kW to 120kW per door, up to 240kW per rack.

Supermicro introduced a ten-model Rear Door Heat Exchanger portfolio spanning 10kW to 120kW per door and up to 240kW at the rack, aimed at both new AI builds and retrofits of legacy data centers.

The doors fit standard EIA, ORv3 and MGX racks and can work standalone or alongside direct-to-chip cooling, removing the need for dedicated hot- and cold-aisle containment and lowering retrofit cost.

The lineup supports NVIDIA GB300 and B300 systems plus AMD's forthcoming Helios platforms, with DC models drawing from rack busbars and AC variants also offered, all with intelligent fan control, N+1 redundancy and condensation protection.

Monitoring runs through Redfish, SNMP, web interfaces and SuperCloud Composer.
