Gemini Spark Now Integrates With Chrome

Google, Thursday, July 30th, 2026

Gemini Spark can now use logged-in Chrome sessions to complete multi-step web tasks with prompt injection defences.

Google expanded Gemini Spark to more users worldwide and integrated it directly with Chrome. With user permission, Spark can use logged-in accounts and saved passwords to handle multi-step web errands such as scheduling apartment viewings or researching and starting flight bookings.

Google states the integration protects against threats including prompt injection while keeping the user in the loop for consequential steps.

Operating inside an authenticated browser session is what makes real task completion possible and also what makes the security design load-bearing. The update is part of July's Gemini Spark release.
