Observe by Snowflake enters private preview storing telemetry as open Iceberg tables in customer S3 buckets.
Observe by Snowflake on Apache Iceberg is now in private preview. Telemetry is stored as open Iceberg tables in the customer's own S3 bucket, queryable by any engine rather than locked into the observability vendor's format.
That inverts the usual observability model where retention cost and data portability are controlled by the tool.
