Veeam Data Platform v13.1 introduces more than 70 new features across identity protection, cyber resilience, and operational AI.
The release automates Active Directory forest recovery by capturing the necessary metadata before an incident occurs, addressing identity as attackers' primary entry point. Threat detection expands to previously unsupported workloads including AIX and Solaris, and new post-quantum cryptography guards against future harvest-now-decrypt-later attacks.
Veeam Intelligence evolves from a question-answering assistant into an investigative agent that can execute approved operational tasks under workflow-based approval controls. Veeam frames the goal as letting defenders operate at machine speed against accelerating threats.
