NVIDIA, DDN, and the Naval Postgraduate School open an AI Technology Center to train military officers on frontier AI systems.
NVIDIA donated a DGX GB300 system to the Naval Postgraduate School, with DDN supplying the data infrastructure that feeds it, to establish a new AI Technology Center.
The collaboration is designed to prepare Navy officers and researchers to build AI solutions for mission planning, autonomous systems, and decision support.
Pairing accelerated computing with intelligent data management lets the school run secure, efficient AI workloads on classified and sensitive research problems. A ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 22 formally opened the center.
The partners describe the effort as a shared commitment to AI education and to equipping future defense leaders with world-class infrastructure.
