Uber releases an open-source AI agent security system to detect and prevent malicious agent behavior.
Uber released Agentic AI Detection and Response (ADR), an open-source enterprise security system for monitoring AI agents.
The software tracks the behavior of internal and customer-facing agents, scanning for malicious activity and unsafe actions across more than 50,000 agents running at Uber.
Traditional security tools treat agents as black boxes and miss the intent behind their actions. ADR's two-tier architecture performs initial triage then applies deeper analysis to suspicious sessions, blocking 97.2% of credential exposures and all AgentDojo prompt injection attacks with minimal false alarms.
