Dell introduced support for KIOXIA's high-capacity NVMe SSDs in its ObjectScale configuration, fitting 40 drives into 2U of rack space for 9.83PB of raw storage.
The system targets data-intensive AI, big data and analytics workloads. Dell claims twice the density efficiency of competitors and up to 76% TCO savings versus public cloud.
The advance addresses growing AI storage demand as data centers scale toward zettabytes of data through 2027.
