Cloudflare has given bot operators a home in the Cloudflare dashboard to manage their submissions to BotBase, the company's directory of bots and agents.
The update adds submission status tracking so operators can see where a request stands, and submission editing so they can correct or update an entry rather than starting over.
A new behavior model lets operators accurately declare how their bots use content, which is the information website owners need to make an informed allow or block decision.
The work follows features announced on Cloudflare's second Content Independence Day, which gave site owners more visibility and control over automated traffic.
