Databricks adds a Genie One desktop app, document collaboration and expanded enterprise context to move from answers to action.
Databricks has extended Genie One past question answering toward doing the work that follows an answer.
A new desktop app gives users a global launcher so they can reach Genie One without switching between browser tabs. Enhanced document collaboration lets people draft, edit, comment on and share documents directly with Genie One, producing executive-ready reports in a few steps rather than exporting results and rebuilding them elsewhere.
Expanded context comes from Genie Ontology snippets and file uploads, which bring more enterprise-specific knowledge into interactions. All of it is built on existing enterprise governance rather than a parallel permission model.
