Huntress opens up its SOC investigation process, including cases closed as benign, in a new Investigations view.
Huntress partners have long said the same thing: when an investigation was closed as benign, it was hard to know what actually happened behind the scenes.
The new Investigations view addresses that by showing how the Huntress SOC runs a security incident investigation from first signal to final resolution, including the ones that end in no action.
Huntress describes the change as moving from a black box to a glass box, giving partners visibility into the analysis rather than only the verdict. That matters for partners who must explain to their own customers why an alert did not require action.
