Cursor cloud agents can now execute on self-hosted machine pools inside a customer's own network while Cursor still orchestrates them.
Cursor added self-hosted machines, letting cloud agents execute on dynamically scheduled pools of machines inside a customer's own network while Cursor still starts and manages the agent loop.
Codebases, build outputs and secrets stay internal, and agents can run next to internal services and source control, use custom hardware, or run build pipelines that are hard to package as a standard cloud agent image. My Machines connects a single laptop or VM; team pools are named worker queues that grow and shrink with demand.
Cursor says cloud agents now create more than 60% of the pull requests it merges internally. Lambda MicroVMs can serve as the compute layer inside a customer's own AWS account.
