CrowdStrike announced an Agentic Identity Provider that gives every AI agent in an enterprise a trusted, verifiable identity instead of letting agents inherit shared human or service credentials. Access decisions are made against real-time context rather than static entitlements, so an agent's permissions can tighten or expand as its behavior and risk signals change.
The release also extends CrowdStrike's modern privileged access management capabilities to cover machine and agentic identities. It targets the governance gap created as organizations deploy autonomous agents that can act on systems at machine speed.
