Never Send Another 'Just Checking In' Email

Every sales professional has done it, and every sales professional secretly hates doing it. The deal has gone quiet. You need to re-engage. You have nothing new to say. So you type the four most defeated words in sales - "just checking in" - dress them up with a little padding, and hit send, knowing the prospect will see straight through it. These messages rarely work, because they broadcast the truth: you're reaching out for your benefit, not theirs, and you have no real reason to be in their inbox.
The reason "just checking in" fails isn't the wording - it's that the message offers the buyer nothing and openly signals you're chasing your own pipeline.
The fix is having something real to say, and a weekly newsletter manufactures exactly that: a fresh, legitimate, value-first reason to make contact every seven days.
It also tells you when and whom to approach, since a prospect who clicks or comments has handed you both a signal and an opening. Same contact frequency, opposite impression - one erodes your standing, the other builds it.
