CrowdStrike Builds an Identity Provider for AI Agents, Not Humans

Speaking with theCUBE at Fal.Con, CrowdStrike CMO Jennifer Johnson said enterprises may soon have roughly 90 AI agents per human employee, and agents cannot be managed like human identities.
The new Agentic Identity Provider fills a gap in Continuous Identity, the real-time authorization system built on the SGNL acquisition, by establishing what an agent is before deciding what it can do. Most firms today represent agents with service accounts and API keys.
The announcement came alongside coordinated cross-domain Agentic SOC investigations.
