AWS makes EC2 T8i burstable instances generally available as a lower-cost option for variable workloads.
AWS announced general availability of Amazon EC2 T8i instances, the newest generation of low-cost burstable general-purpose compute.
The instances target workloads with variable CPU demand such as small databases, development environments, microservices, and low-traffic web servers.
AWS describes price-performance improvements over the prior T-family generation and the CPU credit model that lets instances burst above baseline.
