NVIDIA expands CUDA-Q with a new orchestration layer for fault-tolerant quantum computing systems.
NVIDIA has expanded its open-source CUDA-Q platform with CUDA-Q Logical, an orchestration layer enabling researchers to model and evaluate fault-tolerant quantum systems.
The addition allows coordination of quantum algorithms, error-correction methods, and hardware architectures within a unified workflow.
Fermilab reduced exploration time from five months to three weeks using this approach, while Iceberg Quantum demonstrated that 1,000 logical qubits could be implemented using approximately 150,000 physical qubits. The platform incorporates the QUOPS benchmark and is available through GitHub.
