Marvell Bolsters Connectivity Portfolio with New 3.2T Protocol-Aware Retimer and Second-Generation 1.6T AEC DSP
Marvell Technology, Tuesday, October 13th, 2026
Marvell adds the Alaska E 3.2T Ethernet/UALink/ESUN retimer and a 3nm second-gen Alaska A 1.6T AEC DSP for AI scale-up.
Marvell expanded its Alaska portfolio for AI scale-up networks moving to 224G-per-lane signaling as switch bandwidth reaches 102.4T, starting with the Alaska E 3.2T protocol-aware Ethernet, UALink and ESUN retimer, which provides high-density 224G connectivity for on-board and backplane links with channel reach above 45dB.
The second-generation Alaska A 1.6T AEC DSP moves to 3nm and supports copper reaches beyond six meters, double the first generation.
Both integrate with Marvell's RELIANT telemetry platform and are sampling to customers.
