Sophos ITDR becomes a standalone offering with deeper AI identity visibility, expanded Microsoft support and faster response.
Sophos says identity is one of the most targeted attack surfaces as organizations manage more cloud services, non-human identities and AI agents.
Citing its State of Identity Security Report 2026, Sophos says 71% of organizations had an identity-related breach in the past year, with weak non-human identity management linked to 41% of them.
Sophos Identity Threat Detection and Response, introduced in 2025 as an add-on for Sophos XDR and MDR, has evolved into a standalone offering with deeper AI identity visibility, expanded Microsoft support, faster response and simpler deployment.
