AWS introduces Amazon ECS Gateway, an account-level resource that automates ingress networking for ECS services.
AWS says configuring ingress for each service on Amazon ECS, including load balancers, ACM certificates, WAF web ACLs and security groups, often becomes a bottleneck for platform teams.
Amazon ECS Gateway is a new account-level resource that dynamically provisions and manages that infrastructure on the customer's behalf.
AWS says it reduces per-service overhead, speeds deployment and lowers the risk of configuration drift.
