We've Enhanced the AI Data Plane, Again: Less to Manage, More ROI for Your Agents
Couchbase, Tuesday, October 20th, 2026
Couchbase adds Managed Agent Memory, a Managed MCP Server and Bedrock models to its AI Data Plane, and renames Analytics.
Couchbase's October release expands the Couchbase AI Data Plane with Managed Agent Memory, which gives agents one memory store run by Couchbase, and a Managed MCP Server that replaces per-agent integrations, both on AWS in Capella.
Capella Model Service adds serverless frontier models from Amazon Bedrock, including Claude, Llama 4, Nova, Mistral and Cohere, with semantic caching, plus embeddings over AWS PrivateLink.
Couchbase is also renaming Capella Analytics and Enterprise Analytics to Capella Operational Insights and Enterprise Operational Insights.
