Infoblox describes a scenario in which a SOC's AI agents, busy pulling telemetry and opening cases, slow down, exhaust token budgets and back up investigation queues while an automated response quarantines the wrong network segment.
No server is flooded and no firewall fails; the attacker turns the defender's automation into the weapon.
Infoblox calls this agentic denial of service and says it is not simply DDoS with AI but an attack that denies a business effective use of its AI agents, their infrastructure or the services they protect.
