Java roundup: three JEPs including final Structured Concurrency target JDK 28, plus Azul Payara 7.5 and 38 Apache Camel CVEs fixed.
InfoQ's Java roundup for the week of October 12 reports that three JEPs have been targeted for JDK 28: Adaptive Heap Sizing for ZGC, Faster Startup and Warmup with ZGC, and Structured Concurrency, which will be finalized without change after seven preview rounds.
JDK 28 early-access Build 20 shipped.
Azul Payara 7.5.0, the October edition, removes the need for elevated SSH node permissions, adds command-line configuration properties and fixes a remote code execution flaw in the Administration Console.
The roundup also covers point releases of Gatherers4j, Yupiik Fusion and Google ADK for Java and Kotlin, and 38 resolved Apache Camel CVEs.
