OpenAI GPT-6.1 Terra is now generally available on Amazon Bedrock, with a 1-million-token context window and lower pricing.
AWS announced general availability of OpenAI GPT-6.1 Terra on Amazon Bedrock, positioned as a balance of capability, speed, and cost efficiency for everyday workloads in the GPT-6 family.
Compared with GPT-5.6 Terra, it offers stronger visual reasoning, more accurate computer use, and improved factuality.
On OpenAI's Agents' Last Exam evaluation, it scored 15 points above GPT-5.6 Terra, matched GPT-6 Astra, and finished tasks more than three times faster than GPT-6 Astra and GPT-6.1 Sol.
It has at least 50% lower token prices than GPT-6.1 Sol and GPT-5.6 Terra, a 1-million-token context window, and text and image inputs.
