Check Point launches Firewall-as-a-Subscription, offering AI Network Firewall protection without an upfront hardware purchase.
Check Point announced Firewall-as-a-Subscription, a program giving organizations of any size Check Point Force Firewalls with R82.20 AI Network Firewall capabilities, AI-powered threat prevention, Live Updates and Smart-1 Agentic Management for one monthly or annual fee.
The company cites rising borrowing costs and flat security budgets that cause firewall refreshes to slip.
The subscription includes SandBlast, 24x7 premium support and Flex Credits for policy migration from other vendors, and customers can upgrade throughput during the three-year term and move to new hardware after 36 months.
It becomes available November 1 through Check Point partners.
