AWS Backup now supports cross-account management, cross-account backup and delegated administrators in the AWS European Sovereign Cloud (Germany).
AWS Backup in the AWS European Sovereign Cloud (Germany) now supports cross-account management, cross-account backup and delegated administrators through AWS Organizations.
From the management or a delegated administrator account, customers can deploy organization-wide backup policies and monitor backup, copy and restore jobs across accounts.
Cross-account backup copies recovery points to a vault in another account for added protection.
There is no extra charge beyond standard AWS Backup pricing.
