Datadog Infrastructure Basic offers lightweight host monitoring for lower-priority workloads without full application instrumentation.
Infrastructure Basic collects core system metrics for CPU, memory, disk utilization and I/O, network, uptime and load, and can monitor selected named processes with the Process Check.
It includes out-of-the-box dashboards, monitors for conditions such as high CPU, low disk space or a stopped process, and 15 months of full-resolution data.
SaaS integrations let monitors create ServiceNow tickets or trigger PagerDuty incidents.
Datadog positions it for back-office and staging hosts so teams can consolidate monitoring in one tool instead of over-monitoring or running a separate product.
