You Can Now Generate, Preview, and Edit Documents, PDFs, Presentations, Spreadsheets, and More Directly in Gemini

Gemini can now generate, preview and edit documents, PDFs, slides, spreadsheets and code directly in chat.
Users can expand files to full screen and type edits, highlight text to ask questions, or have Gemini refine the file.
PDF preview and editing works on web and mobile, while Google Docs, Sheets, slide decks, Markdown, TXT and code are web only.
An example is creating a PDF study guide from uploaded handwritten lecture notes and then editing it.
The feature is available to all users in all languages where the Gemini app is offered.
