The Register, Saturday, October 31st, 2026
The Register shows a Marks & Spencer Oxford Street food hall sign displaying a low disk space warning, likely from Windows 10 LTSC.
A reader spotted a digital sign outside an M&S food hall on London's Oxford Street showing a low disk space alert.
The reader suspected Windows 10 21H2 LTSC.
The article notes that support for 21H2 ended for many users in 2023, but Windows 10 LTSC 2021 continues until Jan 12, 2027, and Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 gets extended support until Jan 13, 2032.
It also mentions M&S's 2025 cyberattack, with cleanup costs estimated around 136 million pounds, and jokes that simple posters never run out of disk space.
