Compliance Never Stops. Neither Should Your Business

OpenText, Wednesday, October 28th, 2026

OpenText argues CFOs need continuous, automated compliance for EDI and trading partner requirements to avoid chargebacks and payment delays.

The post says compliance failures such as missed trading partner requirements, incorrect advance shipping notices or rejected invoices quietly erode margins and delay payments.

Periodic reviews and manual checks find problems only after they happen, while customers keep changing EDI, ASN, labeling, delivery window and invoice rules.

A single noncompliant shipment can trigger a chargeback, finance investigation time, cash flow uncertainty and strained customer relationships, multiplied across many partners and transactions.

It frames the issue as whether compliance processes can keep pace with a business that never stops moving.
