Introducing the Slack Code API: Your Agents, Your Team, One Code Channel

Slack Code API is now generally available, letting any developer have their agent open a code channel for team collaboration.
Slack launched Slack Code in August so agent development happens in shared channels where teammates can watch, add context and approve changes.
Launch partners included Anthropic, Cognition, GitHub and Vercel, and GitHub Copilot opens a dedicated code channel on 30% of its agent sessions.
After more than 150 customers and partners asked to build code channel experiences for their own agents, Salesforce made the Slack Code API generally available so any developer's agent can start a code channel with the relevant people, context and plan.
