StorageReview reports the latest VDURA Flash Volatility Index, which shows enterprise SSD prices increased another 5 percent in July 2026.
The monthly increase was lower than the extreme fluctuations seen over the past year, but the cumulative level remains striking. Prices are holding at roughly 6.5 times year-ago levels.
VDURA pegs a 30TB TLC drive at $22,600, which is 18.6 times the cost of equivalent HDD capacity. The figures are aimed at storage buyers reassessing flash-first architectures.
